Observation

.claude/skills/spectra-archive/SKILL.md does NOT include a "Step 0: Bootstrap Stage Task List" section. All idd-* skills (idd-close, idd-implement, idd-plan, idd-update, idd-verify) require this as Step 0 with explicit TaskCreate calls for each phase.

When /idd-close cascades to /spectra-archive (as in our recent #46 close), the spectra-archive sub-flow doesn't create its own task list — leaves the close stage task list mixed with spectra steps without per-step accountability.

Suggested

Add Step 0 Bootstrap TaskList to spectra-archive SKILL.md with tasks: prompt_change_name, check_artifacts, check_tasks, assess_delta_sync, cleanup_tracking, run_archive_cli, display_summary, plus (when #56 ships) post_implementation_complete.

Priority

P3 — consistency improvement, not blocking. spectra-archive functions correctly without it.

Related

Other spectra-* skills (spectra-apply, spectra-propose, etc.) likely have the same inconsistency — separate audit may surface them. Out of scope for this single ticket.

On inspection that command file is wrapped in <!-- SPECTRA:START v1.0.2 --> tool-managed markers (the spectra CLI regenerates that region) — hand-editing it is the actual anti-pattern. The SKILL.md edit shipped here IS the correct, effective surface for the /idd-close → /spectra-archive skill cascade this issue was motivated by, and is consistent with #56's precedent of directly editing .claude/skills/spectra-archive/SKILL.md. Decision (user): keep the SKILL.md edit; do not hand-edit the tool-managed command file.
