Guidance on API integration

is there any guidance how to use Kloppy with an actual API instead of the files, e.g., Wyscout API?

If the API uses Basic Authentication (as the Wyscout API does), you should be able to pull data directly from the API as follows:

from kloppy import wyscout
from kloppy.config import set_config

set_config(
    'adapters.http.basic_authentication',
    { 'login': <Client ID>, 'password': <Client Secret> }
)

dataset = wyscout.load(
    event_data="https://apirest.wyscout.com/v3/matches/3788741/events",
    data_version="V3"
)
