Hello,

I am trying to get pytables to work in Windows but I am running into some issues. I saw one thread online with a similar issue to this in the condas forum here: conda-forge/pytables-feedstock#31 however none of their solutions worked for me (also preferably I would not use condas). Any recommendations?

this is the error I get any time i try to 'import tables':

I believe I have installed HDF5 correctly (version 1.12.0 in my program files) and ran the examples to check .

Any help is appreciated!
