Updated GitHub Actions workflow to deploy from a different branch and ignore specific paths.
Replaced the remote_theme and jekyll-remote-theme plugin with custom layouts and includes. Added new HTML and CSS files for site structure, navigation, and styling. Removed the old GitHub Actions workflow for Jekyll and updated the README badge to reference the new workflow. Adjusted .gitignore to allow the _site directory. Updated _config.yml with new defaults and layout settings.
