- Normal mode: block selected mod IDs, including IDs declared in bundled mod JARs.
- Advanced mode: require every reported mod file hash to be approved.
- Launcher verification: optionally restrict detected launchers alongside either mod mode, or use launcher checks alone.
Start with normal mode if you only need a blacklist. Use advanced mode when you want control over approved mod files and are prepared to maintain that list after updates. See Verification Modes for the settings and their effects.
Server owners install ModSeeker and manage the rules. Java players who must pass verification install the matching Hidder build, Fabric Loader and Fabric API. ModSeeker's player whitelist and optional Floodgate support provide explicit verification bypasses.
For the client installation and the data Hidder sends, see Installation and Compatibility and Security Overview.
