  • Copies already in use keep working without a code

  • Kinds of work is now multi-select: pick as many as fit you, in setup and in Settings > Your studio
  • Add your own kinds of work, like Illustration or 3D animation. Type one and press Enter, or add several at once separated by commas
  • The Job finder searches every kind you pick, across all of their job boards and titles, and your own kinds count as search terms too
  • Contra searches and AI writing follow everything you picked

  • Sample data: Settings > Data can fill Rendr with a made-up studio (clients, proposals, jobs, applications, income, subscriptions and Work files) for screenshots and demos
  • Your own data stays where it is and comes back when you choose "Back to my data"
  • While sample data shows, nothing syncs with Contra, searches job boards or backs up, and "Delete all data" is hidden
  • A small note in the corner says sample data is showing; hide it for screenshots, and switch back from Settings or the Help menu

  • Backups work with whatever cloud folder you use: Rendr finds iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and Box on your Mac and offers each as a one-click choice
  • Rendr makes a "Rendr Backups" folder there for you, or uses the one you already have
  • Any other folder works too, including an external drive
  • If the backup folder can't be reached, Rendr says what to check for that service

  • The greeting updates on its own if Rendr stays open
  • The daily briefing no longer opens with "Good morning" when you read it later in the day

@RENDRlabworks RENDRlabworks released this 07 Oct 18:53
a598bc6
  • A fresh install reads cleanly: one setup checklist on Command instead of repeated reminders
  • Site audits and job ranking point you to add your Claude key when there isn't one, instead of failing partway
  • Job finder shows a single setup prompt until it knows what to look for, and no longer says "jobs near" with no place

  • Clearer, shorter messages when Rendr can't check for updates
  • Every release now includes the update feed, so new versions install from Settings > Updates
