Installation

This guide explains how to install RS-MobStand on your Minecraft server.

Requirements

RS-MobStand requires:

  • Minecraft 1.21+
  • Paper Server
  • Java 21 or newer

Download

Download the latest RS-MobStand release from the GitHub Releases page.

Installation Steps

Step 1

Stop your server.

Step 2

Place:

RS-MobStand-x.x.x.jar

into your server's:

plugins

folder.

Step 3

Start the server.

RS-MobStand will automatically generate its configuration files.

Step 4

Verify the plugin loads successfully.

You should see startup messages indicating RS-MobStand has been enabled.

Step 5

Configure settings if desired.

Configuration changes can be applied through the Admin Menu or by restarting the server.

Updating

To update:

  1. Stop the server.
  2. Replace the existing jar.
  3. Start the server.

Your Mob Stand data and configuration will remain intact.

Verifying Installation

Place an Armor Stand.

Hold a Stick.

Sneak and right-click the Armor Stand.

If the Armor Stand converts into a Mob Stand, the installation was successful.
