caldav sync does not work without propfind support

Dear all,

Not sure it is an issue, but it seems that propfind is required.
But servers like Baikal allow direct addressing like http://...../baikal/card.php or
http://...../baikal/card.php/principals
Could we have support for this configuration, in case propfind (mod_dav module for Apache) cannot be installed ?

I was wondering why baikal direct URL didn't work and if I was missing something. I'm running rainloop on nginx, can I fix this myself or does it need to be done in rainloop code ?

It would be nice indeed to have the choice of using PROPFIND or not. Lots of shared web hosting services don't allow this type of request. Actually, I am concerned by this limitation:

By the way, I read that SabreDAV (apparently used by RainLoop) can run without PROFIND method, is that true?

"All DAV-compliant resources MUST support the PROPFIND method and the propfind XML element (Section 14.20) along with all XML elements defined for use with that element."

 

• Which basically means:

"Go get your hands dirty and activate WebDAV on your web server. Or switch for a hosting service that provides WebDAV out of the box" :-)
