Keep GPS and acelerometer data when reencoding Gopro or drone videos

I want to save space in my video backups by converting old drone or GoPro videos, which were originally in H.264, to H.265. However, I’ve found that in doing so, the GPS or accelerometer data gets lost in the process. I’d like to keep that data in case I want to use some of those videos in the future to add gauges or similar overlays.

That’s why I think it would be an excellent feature for VidCoder to have an option to retain all that data directly within the file, or, if that’s not possible, to automatically extract it into a separate file with the same name — for example, in GPX or a similar format.
