With quickFilters Enabled, Message Filters ⇒ New... ⇒ Copy... creates TWO Copies

Message Filters -> New... -> Copy... & Save creates TWO Copies of the message filter, and they are (sometimes?) not correct.

I created bug 2008787 to report this, and the response was to test to see if I can reproduce this problem in troubleshooting mode, perhaps an extension like QuickFilters might be causing the problem.

Instead, I disabled QuickFilters and I could not reproduce the problem. I re-enabled it and I could reproduce it again.

Looks to me it's QuickFilters???

I downloaded 6.10 (shown as last updated 10 Jan 2026), installed, and restarted. Still creating two copies.

"New... -> Copy..." has been there for as long as I can remember. Granted, my memory isn't what it used to be...

I will fix it soon - just as a temporary workaround can you try the clone button?

Try this version - it should fix the issue. I believe onAccept() was called twice - once by me and dialog.

It wasn't really that big of a deal. I don't make copies very often. But I just thought you would like to know.

I was a programmer for many years. I know how it can be when you know things you wrote aren't working as you intended. I'm working on a few extensions on my own. Nothing near ready to release.
