Outdated Companion Firmware

The update schedule for this app is a lot, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. However ever app update results in new companion board firmware being generated, which isn't always necessary to update. I update the firmware about every 5 revisions since it takes longer. However, it would be nice to know when a companion firmware is out of date/incompatible with the app version. Some kind of warning popup saying you're running firmware X but this version of the app needs version Y.
This will help make sure I update when needed, but not when not needed
