Welcome — start here, and tell me what you find

[RedHouseLux]

Welcome, and thank you for being here.

This project exists for one reason: higher consciousness about our digital footprints, and better digital well-being. Instagram knows what it showed you, when, how often and what you did about it — it just never shows you. This makes that readable, inside your own Google account, with nothing uploaded anywhere.

It is a work in progress and openly so. Instagram is where it starts, not where it stops.

This thread is for anything

• Something broke, or a step was confusing. A confusing step is a bug in the instructions, not in you. Tell me where you got stuck.
• A number looks wrong. Especially welcome. Every metric is a keyword rule you can read and edit in the Settings tab — if it is wrong for you, say so, and say why.
• You found something you did not expect about yourself. This is the whole reason the project exists. Share as much or as little as you want.
• You want it to do something else. Ideas are open. The roadmap is on the landing page.

For reproducible bugs, an issue is easier to track. Everything else belongs here.

Nothing about your data should end up in this thread. Screenshots of your own dashboard are entirely your call — just check what is in the frame first, since account names and captions tend to be in it. If you are reporting a bug, the tab name and what you expected is almost always enough.

Getting started

Setup steps, the reasoning behind the project, and the roadmap are all at

The project is free and stays free. If it was useful and you feel like it, there is a tip jar at buymeacoffee.com/blockcert — entirely optional, and it changes nothing about what you get.

Thank you for taking part.
