1.1.0 - The Workspace & Text Update

Welcome to the 1.1.0 release of Refloow Photo Studio!

This update focuses on delivering some of your most requested features, drastically improving canvas navigation, squashing bugs, and expanding our presence to major application stores.

✨ New Features & Enhancements

  • Add Text to Images (#8): You can now add custom text directly to your compositions! Choose from a variety of imported fonts, customize your text colors, and seamlessly integrate typography into your edits.
  • Workspace Zooming & Panning (#1): Navigate your canvas with complete freedom. We've introduced full zooming, panning, and workspace movement capabilities.
  • Smart Crop & Zoom Integration (#19): To ensure a smooth editing workflow, canvas zooming automatically locks when the crop tool is engaged, allowing the crop zoom to seamlessly take over without conflicting inputs.
  • Bundled AI Model (#16): The U-2-Netp model for AI Background Removal is now fully bundled and loaded into memory locally, providing an even faster, truly offline out-of-the-box experience.

🐛 Bug Fixes & Stability

  • Large Image Handling (#3): Fixed scaling and rendering issues when working with large vertical images.
  • Multi-Window Bug (#2): Resolved an issue where Electron would unintentionally open multiple app windows.
  • Layer Resizing (#18): Squashed a bug that caused unpredictable behavior when resizing the layers window.
  • UI Polish (#21): Fixed the vertical height centering of the text buttons in the custom titlebar.
