Rhao92's The Bus Stream Deck Plugin — 2.17.0
Rhao92's The Bus Stream Deck Plugin 2.17.0
Rhao92's The Bus Stream Deck Plugin is a free, independent community plugin
for The Bus by TML Studios. Version 2.17.0 adds telemetry-backed vehicle
compatibility, direct vehicle-specific controls, a stop-brake option, and a
cleaner actions list without breaking existing profiles.
What's new
- Vehicle-specific telemetry mappings for the MB eCitaro / eCityBus, Ebusco
2.2, Solaris Urbino, MAN Lion's City double-decker, Scania Citywide LF, and
VDL Citea LLE 120 / LLE 127 - Corrected door, gear, passenger-light, climate, kneeling/lifting, and brake
behavior where the buses expose different genuine events or feedback - Direct D/N/R targets on supported buses, including the relative Ebusco
D–N–R implementation behind the same simple selection - Confirmed direct passenger-light targets per vehicle, including coordinated
upper/lower decks on MAN and front/rear sections on Scania - Stop brake added to the existing brake action when the vehicle provides a
real control event and feedback - A clearer actions list with 17 visible consolidated actions while all 50
established action UUIDs remain available for existing profiles - Shared Property Inspector choices for vehicle display, timetable, doors,
driving controls, and brakes in German and English - Unchanged plugin identity, settings, profile assignments, and update path
Compatibility and honest limitations
Features are enabled per vehicle only when official local telemetry provides a
confirmed event and feedback. Missing numeric temperature or fan values stay
neutral. On Scania, ineffective rear-door events and unavailable automatic
kneeling remain blocked. VDL passenger lighting remains limited to its
confirmed binary off/on states, and its missing numeric temperature remains
neutral.
Navigation remains experimental. Ticket and sales displays remain unavailable
while BusLogic.Sales provides no genuine values.

Rhao92's The Bus Stream Deck Plugin — 2.16.0
Rhao92's The Bus Stream Deck Plugin 2.16.0
Rhao92's The Bus Stream Deck Plugin is a free, independent community plugin
for The Bus by TML Studios. Version 2.16.0 expands navigation, adds automatic
German/English localization, improves full panels and introduces a confirmed
electric-bus trip-consumption display when no real power meter is available.
What's new
- Automatic German and English action names, descriptions, Property Inspectors,
runtime displays, dials, and full panels in one installation - Multi-path navigation with confirmed remaining route, line progress, ETA,
predicted schedule delta, and confidence - Mission-guided stop, final-destination, and operational pause-point symbols
- More stable maneuver guidance around parallel lanes, close opposing turns,
trimmed route prefixes, sustained curves, and premature mission transitions - Improved arrival, departure, and schedule-delta matching with newer The Bus
mission formats - Clearer Navigation Fullpanel with larger route values
- In-game clock with seconds on timetable keys and panels
- Battery level with one decimal place
- Average electric-bus trip consumption in
kWh/100 kmwhen a genuine
Powermeteris unavailable and the energy relationship is confirmed - Trip consumption retained across stops, standstill, and Stream Deck page
changes, with a manual reset on the existing power/consumption key - Correctly sized colored plugin, category, and action-list icons
- Updated project branding, repository links, documentation, and issue paths
Compatibility
Fully confirmed vehicle coverage currently applies to the four-door 18-metre
MB eCitaro / MB eCityBus. Other vehicles may expose different or missing
telemetry and control events. Unknown values remain neutral.
Navigation remains experimental. Fan speed is read-only on the confirmed bus,
and ticket/sales displays remain unavailable while BusLogic.Sales provides no
genuine values.

Rhao92's The Bus Stream Deck Plugin — Public Beta 2.15.0.18
Rhao92's The Bus Stream Deck Plugin — Public Beta 2.15.0.18
Public Beta 2.15.0.18 is now available. Rhao92's The Bus Stream Deck Plugin
is a free advanced telemetry and vehicle control plugin for The Bus. It
provides live telemetry, intelligent controls, dynamic status feedback,
timetable information and experimental navigation. Physical Stream Deck
hardware is optional because the plugin also works with Stream Deck Mobile on
iPhone and iPad.

- Doors, Door All, kneeling, ramp, stop request and gear controls
- Speed, speed limit, battery and power displays
- Wipers, retarder, sun blind and extended exterior-light controls
- HVAC and climate controls wherever genuine vehicle events are available
- Consolidated
Navigationaction with multiple configurable display modes - Manual 60-second navigation diagnostic capture
- Updated German and English documentation
Fix in 2.15.0.18
The configurable navigation action is now simply named Navigation.
Its Property Inspector selection is requested when the inspector opens,
persisted when changed, confirmed by Stream Deck and restored after reopening.
A delayed older settings response can no longer overwrite a newly selected
value. A dedicated regression test covers the complete settings lifecycle.
The corrected persistence behavior was also confirmed in Stream Deck by
changing the selection, closing the Property Inspector and reopening it.
Navigation improvements
Navigation has received fixes based on real route captures:
- Reversed partial route sections are oriented correctly.
- Duplicate and parallel lane groups no longer create artificial loops.
- Stops are projected onto the actual route instead of nearby false segments.
- ETA and predicted schedule delta remain available after stop changes.
- Confirmed straight guidance remains active on longer continuous sections.
- Completed maneuvers no longer remain stuck at zero metres.
- Compact strong opposing turns are no longer reduced to straight guidance.
- S-shaped route sections anchor instructions to the matching curve.
The current behavior is covered by 18 targeted navigation regression groups
and all captured live traces available so far.
Navigation remains experimental. When route data or maneuver matching is
uncertain, the plugin prefers a neutral state instead of guessing.
Navigation diagnostic
The visible navigation-debug action keeps approximately the preceding 60
seconds of navigation data in memory. No file is written until the action is
pressed manually.
The capture includes vehicle and mission telemetry, route geometry, projection
candidates, maneuver decisions, stop distances and selection or rejection
reasons. Captures from problematic route sections are welcome and will help
improve navigation across Berlin, Hamburg and future maps.
Important upgrade note
This beta uses the anonymized plugin identity
de.rhao92.thebus-telemetry-interface.
- When upgrading from
2.14.1or an older build using the previous identity,
Stream Deck treats this as a new plugin and the actions must be assigned once
again. - Updating from
2.15.0.17-betato2.15.0.18-betais a normal update using
the same anonymized identity.
Officially tested with
- MB eCitaro / MB eCityBus 18 m, four-door version
Other buses may work but have not yet been officially verified.
Known limitations
- Navigation remains experimental and needs more testing on additional routes,
maps and road geometries. - Fan speed is display-only on the officially tested bus because no genuine
control event is available there. - Ticket type, price, paid amount, change, receipt state and the ticket full
panel remain unavailable becauseBusLogic.Salesis empty in the available
live telemetry snapshots. - Automatic ventilation still needs its final live retest.
Unavailable states are not simulated.
Project rule: no fake states
The plugin uses only real telemetry, events and game data exposed by The Bus.
If a required value is unavailable or uncertain, the plugin displays a neutral
or unavailable state instead of inventing a result.
Feedback and diagnostic captures are welcome through
GitHub Issues.
