Welcome to the documentation for RPVoiceChat, a proximity-based voice chat mod for Vintage Story that brings immersive communication to your gameplay experience.
RPVoiceChat is a proximity voice chat mod for Vintage Story that allows players to communicate using their microphones with realistic distance-based audio. The mod is inspired by popular communication mods like TFAR for Arma 3 and Simple Voice Chat for Minecraft.
- Proximity Voice Chat: Voice volume decreases with distance, creating realistic communication
- Multiple Voice Levels: Whisper, Normal, and Shout modes with different ranges
- Advanced Audio Processing: Real-time noise reduction and audio effects
- Communication Tools: Telegraph systems, bells, horns, and other communication devices
- Spatial Audio: 3D positional audio with wall muffling effects
- Cross-Platform: Works on Windows, Linux, and macOS (the last one is to improve)
