First release of Tandem: stream to Twitch, Kick and YouTube at once from one OBS encode, and read all three chats in one dock.

Requires OBS Studio 32.2 or newer. Forked from obs-multi-rtmp 0.7.4.4 by SoraYuki; your existing obs-multi-rtmp targets are imported on first start.

Highlights

  • Twitch, Kick and YouTube presets, Import from OBS, per-target "go live with OBS" checkbox.
  • Shared encoder by default: three platforms cost about the same CPU/GPU as one.
  • Reconnects follow OBS's own settings, and endless connect-then-drop loops are detected and stopped with an explanation.
  • Unified, read-only chat dock (Twitch anonymous, Kick public feed, YouTube with your own API key) and an optional local chat overlay.
  • Stream keys and the YouTube API key are stored in Windows Credential Manager.
  • No accounts, no cloud services, no telemetry.

Many bugs reported against obs-multi-rtmp are fixed, including the reconnect loop, stopping a target that is still connecting, sync stop after a server disconnect, leaked audio encoders, and an uninstaller that deleted every OBS plugin. Full list: CHANGELOG.md.

Install

  • Windows: tandem-0.1.0-windows-x64-Installer.exe, or extract the .zip into your OBS folder.
  • macOS: tandem-0.1.0-macos-universal.pkg (built by CI, not yet tested on a Mac).
  • Ubuntu: the .deb for your release; Flatpak: the .flatpak bundle (built by CI, not yet tested on a Linux desktop).
