Fixed

  • layout.syncDOM() uses only document.getElementById() — removes grid.querySelector('#id') entirely. WebKit querySelector with ID selectors on container elements is unreliable on Safari. getElementById matches the consumer's proven working pattern.

Previous attempts kept querySelector as primary with getElementById fallback — but if querySelector returns a truthy non-null value that isn't the correct element on Safari, the fallback never fires. This release eliminates querySelector for slot lookup completely.
