[Bug]: Keyboard Control Command Not Functioning

What happened?

Hi, I have run spawn robot & world but when I run keyboard control its not working. By the way, I’m trying to do SLAM & Nav2, is there any guide on that?

Hi, did you download the package teleop_twist_keyboard?
Try

sudo apt install ros-${ROS_DISTRO}-teleop-twist-keyboard

We are working on a preconfiguration for Nav2, at the moment you can check this guide

Hi, I could replicate the same issue that happens to you

1. The cmd topic must be published at least at 2 Hz. The controller’s cmd_vel_timeout parameter sets the maximum gap between messages; if a new command doesn’t arrive within that window, zero velocity is assumed.

2. The spawn_world terminal is flooding logs with “Joint Command has NaN or Inf, STOP robot.” This is related to recent changes introduced in ros2_control.

To solve second one. I updated the controllers, please test the newly created PR #37
