Roo has stopped executing tasks

What happened?

Roo is just displaying commands in that chat window and not actually executing them. i.e. it just prints <write_file>....
This is only in the VS Code LM API. If i use openrouter the problem goes away.
This didn't happen in previous versions

Yep, I can second that VS Code API - Sonnet 3.5 is not fulfilling tasks as requested.

From the Initial Checkpoint, oddly, it is displaying what it is going to edit in the file, i.e. write the functions in the chat, which is not expected behaviour for Code mode:

Which is then followed by "Task completion" (not green) and the error attempt:

In Code mode, the SECOND request response is an error statement:

in the code that it attempts to write (as seen from expanding execution call) it takes up a markdown form for some reason. Is this normal? (following example is where a '#' comment is displayed as a Heading as per markdown syntax)
