[BUG] In VS Code/Win11, Roo ChangeLog freezes all of VS Code 3-4 minutes

Problem (one or two sentences)

In Win 11/VS Code, Extensions tab, for Roo Code Extension:
Any time I go to ChangeLog tab, either one of two things will happen:
(a) All of VS Code freezes and ChangeLog takes 3-4 minutes to populate.
OR
(b) Entire computer will freeze 3-4 minutes.

Context (who is affected and when)

I am affected and it happens every time.

Reproduction steps

In Win 11/VS Code, Extensions tab, for Roo Code Extension:
I go to ChangeLog tab, either one of two things will happen:
(a) All of VS Code freezes and ChangeLog takes 3-4 minutes to populate.
OR
(b) Entire computer will freeze 3-4 minutes.

Verification:
(1) I close that "Extension: Roo Code" tab in editor.
(2) I go to a random other 2 extensions and try looking at their ChangeLog tab.
(3) No issue with any other extensions.
(4) I go back to "Extension: Roo Code" and click on ChangeLog. Freeze (again, it is either just all of VS Code OR it is entire computer) 3-4 min again.

Expected result

I see ChangeLog without freeze and within 30 seconds.

Actual result

All of VS Code or all of computer freezes 3-4 minutes.

Variations tried (optional)

Verification:
(1) I close that "Extension: Roo Code" tab in editor.
(2) I go to a random other 2 extensions and try looking at their ChangeLog tab.
(3) No issue with any other extensions.
(4) I go back to "Extension: Roo Code" and click on ChangeLog. Freeze (again, it is either just all of VS Code OR it is entire computer) 3-4 min again.

I'm exploring a potential fix for the changelog freeze issue on Windows 11. I'll investigate what's causing the 3-4 minute freeze and open a PR to share progress.

Opened a PR with my attempt at addressing this issue: #9503

The solution creates a lightweight version of the changelog (8KB instead of 136KB) that loads quickly in the VSCode extension viewer. This should eliminate the 3-4 minute freeze you were experiencing on Windows 11. The lightweight version includes recent updates with a link to the full changelog on GitHub for those who need complete version history.

I cannot figure out why this is happening. I have spent a significant amount of time trying to figure it out.
