Bring a Minecraft-inspired visual style into CastleMiner Z with a broad texture-pack overhaul for terrain, HUD elements, and UI fonts.
CastleForge Minecraft Texture Pack is a community-made content pack for the CastleForge TexturePacks framework.
This pack re-themes large parts of CastleMiner Z with a Minecraft-inspired look while staying readable and recognizable in normal gameplay. Instead of changing just a handful of blocks, it applies a broad visual pass across terrain textures, resource blocks, utility blocks, spawn blocks, HUD elements, and multiple UI fonts.
If you want a more familiar voxel-survival look without replacing your entire CastleForge setup, this pack is meant to be an easy drop-in option.
Based on the current pack contents, this release includes:
- 72 block texture families with face-based replacements
- matching
_normalspeccompanions for most block sets - HUD replacements for:
- selector
- HUD grid
- health bar
- stamina bar
- 13 font files for broader UI theming
- a full pack folder ready to load through TexturePacks
The block set currently includes re-themed textures for a wide range of content such as:
- natural terrain like grass, dirt, rock, sand, snow, ice, leaves, and logs
- ores and resource blocks like coal, copper, iron, gold, and diamond
- crafted or utility blocks like crafting stations, lanterns, crates, walls, TNT, C4, and teleport stations
- encounter and progression blocks like spawn blocks, boss spawns, alien spawns, and hell-themed blocks
- Broad coverage instead of a tiny reskin — this is not just one or two novelty textures.
- Minecraft-inspired identity — the art direction clearly aims for a recognizable Minecraft feel.
- Works with the CastleForge TexturePacks framework — no manual file replacement workflow is required.
- Includes UI theming too — the pack is not limited to world blocks.
You need the CastleForge TexturePacks mod installed and working in your normal CastleForge setup.

Contains the terrain and block-face replacements.
This pack uses the normal TexturePacks face naming style, such as:

Grass_bottom.png
Grass_all_normalspec.png
Contains font files used by the TexturePacks runtime to restyle parts of the UI.
Contains HUD and overlay elements such as the selector, grid, and health/stamina bars.
If you want this README to sell the pack better on GitHub, these are the best screenshots to add next:
- A side-by-side world comparison showing vanilla vs pack textures
- A mining/resource screenshot with coal, iron, gold, and diamond visible
- A base-building screenshot using crates, lanterns, walls, and crafting blocks
- A HUD screenshot showing the selector and bars during gameplay
- A menu/font screenshot showing the UI theme clearly
- This pack is designed for the CastleForge TexturePacks system.
- It should be documented and released as a texture pack, not a compiled gameplay mod.
- If you continue expanding it, a future update could also include menu screens, icons, sounds, skyboxes, or model overrides.
One small repo cleanup worth making before or shortly after release:
- remove the stray duplicate file:
Blocks/CopperOre_bottom - Copy.png
Keeping only the intended final asset set will make the project feel cleaner and more polished.
