[Bug] Unable To Confirm/Go Back In Text Input in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

Description of the issue

Every once in a while when in the text input UI (no matter where, naming a creation, naming a mii, setting a mii's nickname for another mii), I lose the ability to use my controller to confirm or go back. I can still type in the box, but I can't accept, it's stuck there. I check input settings, my controller's still connected. I try another controller, it's still not working.
I've also noticed that there's a rare chance that it fixes itself if I go into Ryujinx settings and enable then disable Discord Rich Presence.

Reproduction steps

I think it's controller disconnection related?
It doesn't happen to me at all when using bluetooth on my controller, it happens constantly to my friend using an Xbox One controller with a bad cable, and if I use my controller cable it seems to happen if the controller disconnects for a single microsecond then reconnects. But even if the controller is reconnected or another controller is connected, the UI is still stuck.

I am also having this issue and wanted to add, this happened to me after I was away/idle on the text input screen and my controller disconnected from being idle. Normally this would prompt the user to reconnect the controller, but I guess since it's on the text input screen that didn't happen, which seemingly leads to this soft-lock.

Yep, found a consistent way to reproduce it.
It's the controller disconnection. Went into text input, turned off my controller, turned it back on, and issue happened. Even if it disconnects for a micro-second, like if it were plugged in and the cable comes loose slightly and gets plugged back in, it still happens.

My partner is having the same issue and also has a bad controller cable and was having issues with it disconnecting. Would be great to see this fixed because it's very discouraging for her when she gets softlocked mid game.

I'm having this issue too, and badly, it seems to be getting more common and I can't figure out why or how to escape the soft lock, it's taken me 2 days to get past the input lock on the mii naming screen just once, and today after my 4th try to name and finally save a complicated mii its locked again, I've done just about everything to confirm the text. Has no one figured out what can fix it?
