[Bug] Ryujinx Closes Focused Window Upon Opening

• I am able to reliably reproduce the issue on the latest stable or canary version.
• I am not using an unofficial build (Flatpak, Emudeck, etc.).
• I am a silly goose and didn't read these boxes.

Description of the issue

Whenever Ryujinx is opening, if you have another window focused, Ryujinx will close and sometimes even suspend the process of that window. This can happen to system processes too. It happened to Windows Shell Experience Host when I opened the volume menu while Ryujinx was opening, which now prevents me from doing anything with the volume menu until I restart the whole process.

Reproduction steps

1. Open Ryujinx
2. Before it fully boots up, focus any other window

can you provide a video of this? perhaps check for unexpected closing in event viewer as well?

I couldn't find anything in event viewer, here's a video of it consistently happening (had to upload through nextcloud since video's too big for github to embed)

The console is not enabled. It shouldn't even be opening.

25H2, the only update to Windows 11 itself since 10/3/2025
All other updates have been security updates and visual studio 2012 updates. Nothing available in the "check for updates" tab, it tells me I'm on latest. Update history shows that the last released actual Windows update was 25H2 which was a few months ago.
Driver version's 596.21, no new drivers available since April 16th.

Having "Show Console" enabled prevents this from happening.
I think it's trying to close the console by closing the focused window and it just expects the console to be the focused window, because this only happens if "Show Console" is disabled.

very likely a logic flow issue then, yeah. in that case, the issue is related to UI and the code needs to be updated to avoid opening the console entirely when "Show Console" is disabled.

Having a rom created with an app that adds in updates will cause this.
