The first repos in the new environment have been established, and we will use https://github.com/axeluhl/bugzilla-to-github to move our Bugzilla content to Github Issues soon. For this, you will notice that Bugzilla will be switched to read-only mode before the migration starts, and will move to https://old-bugzilla.sapsailing.com afterwards, to where back-references will point from the migrated Github Issues. We plan to establish redirects from bugzilla.sapsailing.com in such a way that links to Bugzilla items will redirect to the corresponding Github Issue item. For this, the migration script will ensure that issue numbers match the Bugzilla bug IDs. For our GWT repos in the SAP/ Github organization we plan to transfer them to the eclipse-sailing-analytics Github org, so they will "disappear" from the SAP org then, which will require one or two minor changes in our build scripts once this is completed. |

https://bugzilla.sapsailing.com has now been switched to read-only mode. Changes are currently not possible, and the migration process to Github Issues has been started. |

The migration to Github Issues has completed. The old Bugzilla instance is now reachable in read-only mode at https://old-bugzilla.sapsailing.com. The links to specific Bugzilla issues now redirect to the corresponding migrated Github Issue. Please edit existing issues there, and file new issues there. |

Ahoj,
the Sailing Analytics project has been approved and was officially created as an Eclipse Foundation project: Eclipse Azimuth Sailing Analytics. See here. In the process, expect a number of things to happen over the next couple of months:
Specifically regarding the Bugzilla-to-Github Issues migration, as a registered Bugzilla user with the Github app installed on your phone, you may see push notifications about changes to issues. As you may understand, this migration will require test runs with throw-away repositories before we can migrate our entire Bugzilla content to the new Eclipse Foundation Github repository. We have made sure that at least no e-mail notifications are sent out during these tests, so bear with us and maybe disable those push notifications temporarily for those tests we're running. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
