v1.5.2
First public release of OutlookMailMigrator (OMMigrate).
Overview
v1.5.2 is a consolidated release of all pre-launch and post-1.5.0 work,
published as one clean initial release. No functional or behavioral
changes from the code that was already tested and verified working --
this release exists to present that work as a single, coherent
first release.
Highlights
Optional Obsidian Add-on -- associates
.mdfiles with Obsidianso this project's documentation opens with full formatting. Fully optional,
opt-in (
Obsidian-Addon-Install.bat), and does not touch the migrationpipeline itself. See
QUICKSTART.md, Step 0.75.Install.ps1 matches the repo exactly -- the one-line installer
covers every file a fresh install needs, verified against
tree_view.txt,including a fix for false-positive "download too small" failures on
legitimately tiny tracked files.
CONTRIBUTING.md added -- bug reports and questions are welcome via Issues
from day one; pull requests aren't being accepted yet while real-world
testing experience builds up beyond the original test set.
Rules engine and pipeline fixes
Consolidated fixes from post-1.5.0 live testing and a full pre-launch
pipeline review -- all backwards compatible, no CSV or settings changes
required. Highlights include corrected
SendersDomain/rule-splittinghandling in
rules_inventory.csv, Exchange accounts now correctlytracked in
LastTargetRun, a hardcoded timezone offset fix, and IMAP/SMTPcredential repair no longer failing on non-default Outlook profile names
or Outlook 2013.
Sanitization and documentation pass
Full sweep of the codebase and docs ahead of public launch -- no
functional/behavioral changes. Personal identifying details removed
from source comments; new backup-and-recovery, rules-export, and
settings-reference guidance added to README.md and QUICKSTART.md.
Obsidian Add-on -- antivirus false positive fixed
Norton flagged
Obsidian-Addon-Opener.ps1as a threat (IDP.Generic)when triggered via the
.mdfile association, root-caused to an AVheuristic on
-ExecutionPolicy Bypass. Fixed by removing the bypassflag; confirmed clean on repeated testing.
Full details
See CHANGELOG.md for the complete, itemized history --
every fix, root cause, and file changed.
