Existing project

  • Will take a bit of time to explore around the code and figure out how it works
  • Front-end is in React very similar to Split
  • Back-end is in C#
    • Looks to be pretty well organised with Controllers for API calls, DTO objects and uses Repository pattern
    • Swagger can be used to run/test the back-end
  • Lot of existing issues and PRs to go through first and organise

Initial Scope

  • Payments and adding flat members don't quite work - need to hook up the back-end to the front-end

  • Further enhancements to flat members like removing them and editing details

  • Payments will need some investigation to see how to get it working and if there is anything else to add, looks like some refactoring issues

  • New feature: redesign chores and have the application be able to track flat chores effectively

  • Stretch goal: clean up the dashboard and integrate it with the app

Action items

  • William will clean up some of the repo, such as the open PRs soon to allow everyone to start coding
  • Decided on having 3 teams based on the areas of functionality in the app. Vilia will manage the GitHub repo and William will be responsible for coordinating work. Teams are as follows: Teams table
