When drafting a document, the initial draft PR can be open a long time with many commits e.g. as comments from the DG are incorporated etc. It would be useful to have diffs between the versions of the draft used in DG meetings e.g. "Here's the redline showing what's been changed since the DG meeting two weeks ago -- is everyone happy that these changes address the points raised?"
One solution could be a feature to generate redlines between arbitrary commits.
Another solution could be to make PRs more short-lived e.g. a new PR for each iteration of the draft document (perhaps a new PR for each DG meeting).
