Updraft is a standalone updater suite for any GitHub project. Drop one of the executables into any folder, point it at a repository, and it handles the rest.

File Description
SimpleUpdater.exe Standalone updater — lives in your project folder alongside updater-info.ini. No installation, no dependencies.
ManagedUpdater.exe Same as standalone, but registers with a central registry so UpdateManager can track it.
UpdateManager.exe Central dashboard — monitor, check, and update all managed projects on your system from one window.

What's in this release

Install wizard
Point at any GitHub repo URL and complete setup in a few clicks. Supports Release Page (select specific asset files) and Source Code (latest commit archive) modes.

Smart asset matching
Handles versioned file names automatically across releases without any configuration change. Falls back to an interactive picker if the maintainer renames files completely.

File exclusion manager
Mark any file to be skipped during updates. Useful for protecting local configs, save files, or custom scripts. Excluded files can also be updated individually on demand.

Post-update script runner
A blank update-done.bat is created on first install. Edit it to run any commands after an update completes — rebuilds, restarts, notifications. Can trigger automatically or run manually from the dashboard.

Shortcut creation
Windows shortcuts are automatically created for every executable and script found in main/. Supports .exe, .bat, .cmd, .ps1 (with execution policy bypass), .vbs, .wsf, and .js.

Windows 7 Aero GUI
Clean Segoe UI interface styled after Windows Vista/7 Aero. Runs on Windows 7 through Windows 11.
