This is originally zxbc's ping wheel widget. As zxbc was no longer able to keep working on it, I was granted permission to create this repo so the community could continue improving it and bug fixing for current version of BAR. This version fixes a bug that was introduced after the game was updated, and also customizes the default widget messages.
- Copy the gui_ping_wheel.lua file to Beyond-All-Reason\data\LuaUI\Widgets. You may drop it directly in that folder or create a new folder for the widget itself.
- To turn the widget on in-game, go to your settings while in a match and find check the "Custom" tab.
There are guides on Youtube as well as in the Beyond All Reason Discord on how to manage widgets if you have further questions.
Hold down a keybind (default Alt+F) a ping wheel will be displayed at your mouse cursor. Clicking onto one of the options will then place a ping with the appropriate label on the map.
You can open the file and edit the entries yourself to change them or add new ones. You can also adjust the colors and sizes of the wheel graphic itself and the text labels.
