Describe the problem

I used Extera for a tiny bit back when I ran Arch with SystemD. It was garbage, and I forgot to remove the about when I was done. Only realised this when I migrated to Sable and noticed this on my account page... I can't run Extera because it won't install on my phone and it complains about my init system on my PC.

Describe the solution you'd like

I'd like to be able to remove or even modify the Extera about and potentially other account data from my account from within Sable. This would allow me to remove useless clutter from my account page.

Alternatives considered

1. running a vm just for extera - but doing all of that just to remove a field? really?

You should be able to make an API call against your Home Server using the user access token found in dev tools, if it's urgent. Otherwise, having the ability to modify account data directly in client would be useful, but potentially breaking if done wrong.

I could do this, however I'm not that technical and unsure how to do something like that.

@SwirlyStone5877 Could you clarify this issue better, as this doesn't seem to be related to Sable at all. Like @Just-Insane suggested, if the intend is a better account data editor in the client, then adjust it to that. Also no need for "[FEATURE REQUEST]" we got labels for that.

The push was mainly for a better account editor. I could probably change the issue name to reflect this. As for labels I'm used to contributing to repositories that don't have labels, so that's on me.

Enable dev mode and you can use the commands /setext xyz.extera.about (stuff) or /delext xyz.extera.about to modify extended profile data.

Imo, we probably don’t want easier editing than that. If anyone disagrees feel free to reopen or make a new issue.
