We are thrilled to bring you AniPlay v1.3, featuring simplified layouts, English subtitle standardization, player optimizations, and stability fixes!
🎬 Subtitle Highlights:
- English Only Subtitles: Subtitle tracks are now automatically filtered to keep English only (non-English tracks are skipped).
- Elegant Labeling: Standardized all subtitle labels to simply read
"English", removing redundant provider suffixes (like(Ani),(Neko),(Waves)). - Deduplication: Multi-source subtitle tracks are deduplicated in the player dropdown, ensuring only a single, clean
"English"selection option is shown. - Shared Subtitles on DUB: Subtitles are now successfully copied from subtitled servers to matching dubbed servers, meaning you can view subtitles on dubbed audio tracks too.
🎥 Premium AniPlayer Features:
- Swipe-to-Adjust Gestures: Swipe vertically on the left half of the screen to adjust Brightness, and on the right half to adjust Volume seamlessly.
- Double-Tap Skip: Quick-skip by double tapping on either side of the screen (rewind 10s on left, fast-forward 10s on right) with a polished feedback ripple animation.
- Flexible Aspect Ratios: Cycle instantly between Fit (Contain), Zoom (Cover), and Stretch display modes to perfectly match your screen's aspect ratio.
- Subtitle Sync & Delay Control: Adjust subtitle delay offsets on the fly to correct sync errors and match dialogue timing perfectly.
- Dynamic Resolution Selector: Supports switching between resolution streams (1080p, 720p, 480p, etc.) with automatic fallback switching ("Auto" mode).
- Autoplay Block Bypass: Built-in blocked-autoplay detectors handle browser limitations automatically so your episodes start playing without interruptions.
🎨 UI & UX Refinement:
- Clean Category Navigation: Removed the overlay black scroll arrow buttons (
<and>) from all horizontal category lists. Navigation is now fully streamlined for smooth, native touch gestures (swipe to scroll), matching premium streaming designs.
⚡ Player & Server Stability:
- Server Highlight Fix: Fixed a bug where toggling between SUB and DUB tracks refreshed the server list and set the selected server to
null. Now, the active server is correctly persisted and highlighted in the active server pills.
📥 Offline Video Downloader (v1.3 Core):
- Secure Downloader: Features a fully native offline downloader plugin utilizing community-supported, high-performance community FFmpegKit and OkHttp libraries.
- Local Decryption Muxing: Securely decrypts and remuxes segments to standard play-anywhere formats.
- Track Separation: Full download support for both subtitled (SUB) and dubbed (DUB) versions of episodes, along with corresponding subtitle file downloads.
- Saves Directly to Gallery: Downloaded videos are exported directly to your native device library, allowing play-anywhere capabilities with native players. Use external players like MX Player or VLC to view subtitles for downloaded videos.
