Changes

  • New configuration option: multiCurrency (boolean)
  • New utility methods added to App: hasMultiCurrency (returns boolean); canLockOpportunityRate (returns boolean); canChangeOpportunityRate (returns boolean); getMyExchangeRate, getBaseExchangeRate, and getCurrentOpportunityExchangeRate return an object with code and rate properties: {code: 'USD', rate: 1}
  • App.context['exchangeRates'] structure will contain all of the available exchange rates when a user logs in. Example getting the USD exchange rate: App.context['exchangeRates']['USD'];
  • App.context['systemOptions'] will fetch a list of system options on user login. The available options are pulled from App.systemOptionsToRequest : systemOptionsToRequest: [ 'BaseCurrency', 'MultiCurrency', 'ChangeOpportunityRate', 'LockOpportunityRate' ]. Additional system options can be added to this array for customization's.
  • Added 'General:Currency' to App.context['userOptions']. This is the users configured currency.
  • The currency format in Mobile/SalesLogix/Format no longer contains a currency symbol
  • Added a new multiCurrency format in Mobile/SalesLogix/Format that takes the value and currency code (USD, EUR, and so on)
  • Added a new lookup view (ExchangeRateLookup) that can be used as a lookup for exchange rate data in App.context['exchangeRates']
  • Opportunity detail now shows the sales potential in base/opportunity/user rates when multicurrency is on.
  • Added a new section to opportunity detail that is only visible when multicurrency is on. This section contains 4 new fields: rate, code, date, locked.
  • Added a new section to opportunity edit for multicurrency using the 4 fields mentioned above, with some rules:
    • User can set the exchange rate if App.canChangeOpportunityRate() returns true, otherwise the field is disabled
    • User can set the currency code if App.canChangeOpportunityRate() returns true, otherwise the field is disabled
    • User can lock the opportunity rate if App.canLockOpportunityRate() returns true, otherwise the field is disabled
    • Locking the opportunity rate disables the exchange rate and exchange code fields
    • Exchange rate date is readonly, and is on the edit page for reference only
  • Opportunity product detail page will show the extended price in base/opportunity/user rates when multicurrency is on
