Just wondering if you have any desire for having fade in/out and scale animations applied to the icons or would rather not have any.

It honestly crossed my mind, but I never bothered.

I'm sure those that do use the script would appreciate animation, but they'll have to wait like 40 years for me to grasp \t() tag and making sure fade timers are never stale or stacked 😝

Any improvement PRs are always welcome though.

Sure 😀 I might add something tied to a user option for any purists who want to disable. Just didn't want to bloat the script unnecessarily.

Here's a version with an animation and a circle background based on personal taste (YouTube style again).

The changes are quite drastic so I might not do a PR, and just link it here instead:
