TinyPanel Studio

TinyPanel Studio is an open-source development environment for building, previewing, streaming, debugging, configuring, and flashing Canvas applications for ESP32 displays.

The ESP32 is a thin display client. JavaScript applications run on the host, render into a small framebuffer, and send compact RGB565 updates to the panel over one ACK-controlled TCP connection. Most application changes therefore do not require reflashing the controller.

Quick start

git clone git@github.com:Sany18/TinyPanel-Studio.git
cd TinyPanel-Studio
npm ci
npm start

Open http://localhost:8766. Device transport listens on TCP port 8765.

Current reference target

  • ESP32-C3 Super Mini
  • ST7735/ST7735S 160×128 display
  • Hardware SPI
  • Wi-Fi TCP transport

Studio also exposes profiles for ESP32-S3 DevKitC-1, ESP32 DevKit V1, ST7789, and ILI9341. Those combinations should be treated as configurable targets rather than equally validated reference hardware.
