Could Corsair devices support inactive time / power off? #446

With iCUE installed, we can set an inactive timeout that powers off the device after a specified period. I'm guessing this is all software-managed by iCUE.

Would it be possible for HeadsetControl to send a power-off signal? Currently, this feature is marked as unsupported in the README.

Is this because no reverse engineering has been done for it yet, or is it simply not possible?

I have a Corsair Void Elite, so if it's something that hasn't been implemented yet but is feasible, I can help with the USB reverse engineering and implementation.

As for the interface part, a timer isn't well-suited for HeadsetControl since it doesn't act as a daemon. However, providing the option to send a power-off packet would allow users to automate shutting down the headset at system shutdown, for example, or enable third-party developers to implement a software inactive timer.
