GameNative Dual-Screen TEST 2: Odin 2 support and swap screen option

This is the second TEST release of GameNative.

This build introduces an option to swap screens and support for odin 2.

The goal is to validate usability, input behavior, and stability before merging these changes into the main GameNative branch.


What’s Included in this new TEST Build

  • Option to swap screen allowing to use RDS or TV as the main screen for gameplay and the internal for keyboard/touchpad
  • Added support for Odin 2

Important Notes

  • This is the second TEST version
  • Bugs, and incomplete features are expected.
  • These changes are not final and may change based on testing feedback.
  • Once testing is complete and issues are resolved, the features will be merged into the main GameNative project.

Feedback is extremely important at this stage and will directly influence the final implementation.

This is a TEST release of GameNative.

This build introduces an experimental virtual keyboard and touchpad designed specifically for dual-screen Android devices.
The goal is to validate usability, input behavior, and stability before merging these changes into the main GameNative branch.


What’s Included in This TEST Build

  • Virtual Keyboard

    • Intended to improve text input for games, and system interactions.
  • Virtual Touchpad

    • Allows mouse-like input using the secondary display.
    • Useful for games or apps that expect pointer input.
  • Hybrid mode: Virtual Keyboard and Virtual Touchpad

    • Allows mouse-like input using the secondary display.
    • Intended to improve text input for games, and system interactions.

External Display Input Configuration

You can configure how the external display is used by following this path:

Edit containerController → scroll to the bottom → External Display Input

From there, select the behavior you want for the secondary screen.

Recommended setting:

  • Hybrid mode — this provides the best balance between touchpad and keyboard usage and works best in most scenarios.
