Status: I think it's all working. Release-Please runs and handles the version properly, it updates the changelog, the manifest, and creates a version.md. In addition, it creates a json version file with, in a second GitHub action, is used to update the sourcecode version header as well as the uplugin data -- this is all run as a batch script in the update-version-header.yml file and uses some basic regex pattern matching to do a sed search/replace.
