Hej, Thank you for writing! I'm not quite sure if you're asking how to implement this in your Python project, or if you'd like to suggest an idea for Looksyk. Here's my answer for Looksyk: Tables are currently supported. For transforming Markdown to HTML, Looksyk uses Marked, which offers broad support for Markdown syntax (Markdown 1.0 with 100%, Commonmark 98%, GitHub 97%). For tables to be recognized as tables, they must have the following properties: Does that help? I wish you the best of luck and feel free to write to me if you have any further questions. PS: Feel free to contribute ideas to the project. Of course, it would be most practical if you could make a pull request, but a well-thought-out idea here in the discussions is also helpful :) Just do what you want. I can imagine that Rust is difficult for beginners (although in my experience, tools like GitHub Copilot can be very helpful). |

Hi,
First I would like to say thanks for developing this. I have been using Logseq for over a year, and am becoming increasingly dissatisfied for all the same reasons as the others here (probably) have.
I even tried to get AI to make a replacement in Python (I'm a programmer, but wanted to learn "vibe coding" - I hate that name), and got a surprising way, quite easily, but you are so much ahead!
However, I use markdown tables quite a lot, and that would probably be a sticking point for me moving. How hard would they be to add? I could beta test, or maybe do some programming, but unfortunately I don't know rust (yet).
Marttin
