About "Optional automatic Pass updates"

Hello there! First of all, congratulations and thanks for the app, working perfect!

I was wondering how the "Optional automatic Pass updates (pull based, with notifications)" feature works. I was looking around the app and the repository for any documentation or somewhere that describes how the feature works. I'm wondering if this may allow having the pkpass files in some arbitrary directory within Android, and the app can import them from there.

If enabled, the app regularly polls the servers of supported passes for updates. So if e.g. your gate changes, it will be reflected on the pass automatically. If the vendor has set a notification, it will then be displayed.
