SenseKit

Open-source infrastructure for context-aware AI agents, starting with a passive-first iPhone runtime.

SenseKit

SenseKit builds open-source infrastructure that helps AI agents understand real-world context without turning the phone into a surveillance endpoint or a tiny public server.

What we are building

  • sense-kit: a passive-first iPhone context runtime that turns on-device signals into deterministic, policy-aware events for OpenClaw

Design principles

  • Passive-first: the product should be useful after install and permission approval, not only after manual Shortcuts setup
  • Deterministic: event detection uses clear rules, weights, and thresholds instead of opaque ML guesses
  • Local-first: raw sensor data stays on-device by default
  • Outbound-only: the phone sends signed events out; it does not try to behave like a hosted server

Current focus

  • real-device validation for wake and driving events
  • background delivery reliability
  • onboarding polish
  • contributor and documentation quality
