Configuration Item Health Checker

Overview

The CI Health Checker is a Flow Designer action that analyzes Configuration Item (CI) health in ServiceNow by evaluating data quality, relationships, and completeness. It provides an overall health score (0-100) and actionable recommendations for improvement.

Features

  • Mandatory Field Validation - Checks if critical CI fields are populated
  • Relationship Analysis - Validates upstream/downstream CI relationships
  • Orphaned CI Detection - Identifies CIs with no relationships
  • CI Class Specificity Check - Ensures CIs use appropriate classes
  • Staleness Detection - Identifies CIs with outdated discovery data
  • Health Score Calculation - Provides a 0-100 score with status (Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor)
  • Actionable Recommendations - Suggests specific improvements
