[BUG] user badges don't show up in previous chat history after refreshing the page

Current Behavior

As seen here, the LisadiKaprio user doesn't have badges next to her name in the message that was sent before I joined chat, aka the previous chat history. This bug occurs for every single user for me. The bug is more likely to occur when I'm just refreshing the stream page, so when I've already been there not so long ago.

Expected Behavior

Badges should show up.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Join a (slow) chat in the middle of the stream.
2. Refresh the page, or close it and open it again, letting the chat load anew.
3. Observe no badges next to users' names.

(The bug doesn't happen if I join the chat for the first time in a while, and specifically happens whenever I reenter chat)
