Installation

From VSIX File

1. Download the VSIX file

   • Get snippetvault-0.0.1.vsix from the releases page

2. Install via VS Code UI

   • Open VS Code
   • Go to Extensions (Ctrl+Shift+X / Cmd+Shift+X)
   • Click the ... menu in the top-right corner
   • Select Install from VSIX...
   • Choose the snippetvault-0.0.1.vsix file
   • Click Install

3. Verify Installation

   • Look for the SnippetVault icon in the Activity Bar (left sidebar)
   • Click it to open the SnippetVault sidebar

4. Log In

   • Click SnippetVault: Login in the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P / Cmd+Shift+P)
   • Enter your SnippetVault credentials
   • Your snippets should now appear in the sidebar

To install the browser extension:

1. Download the extension.crx file down below
2. Navigate to chrome://extensions in your browser
3. Enable developer mode
4. Once it's enabled, drag and drop the extension.crx file on the page.
5. Done!
