Shame on you dev owners, to still participate in user deception with limewire!
I hope you got lot's of money to participate in awful dark patterns, and brand hijacking!
I feel dumb and violated. But it's my fault, I should be more careful.

I was looking for pairdrop.net which was recommended to me as trustworthy. But my memory was fuzzy and I mixed it up with sharedrop.io, seing the github link and just glancing at the repo I thought it might be ok since it was once recommended to me. Turns out this project was not the one I thought it was, and worse it's now sold to limewire, when you drop something it is now clearly being uploaded, I feel stupid and regret having some sensitive files potentially cached for life on a LimeWire's server, which I'll never trust. But clearly I should know better than using some random webpage to do a simple file transfer, so it's also on me.😫

Limewire is clearly using the github repository as a front to enforce their credibility, but if I had any sens I would have seen there is no commit from years ago in this repo. Limewire is most certainly not using this code base anymore and just redirects to their shady and run of the mill file sharing servers. They probably don't respect any sort of privacy policy and keep files forever, contrary to what they state with their local P2P claims, or they vague and ambiguous privacy policy or terms of services.

Please delete this repo, don't endorse limewire dark patterns anymore !!! Don't pollute open source.
