Yeah, the thing is im considering just taking over at doing a big fork. still crediting him and the others. But i have more time and energy and would love to improve on it - would properly change the name and some other things, but the ground strong is great. Its the same thing cause i agree on the AI stance, since i dont want AI * fully doing the code but rather have it as an tool to help solve some things. cause the code i do i still do more consistent and id say faster and more reliable than some ai agents. And other alternatives does sadly use WAY too much in AI that i would think it would be SAFE. for use honestly. |

I installed Fluxer on my server few days ago. Was pure hell at first! Had to consult with AI to get everything working! When me and a friend tried the voice feature (you know, voice channel), we noticed directly that the quality was horrible! She had to higher the volume of the audio from me to even hear me, and also change the microphone because I could barely hear her. But no matter what microphone she used, her voice got lowered quite often and had bad quality, almost like when having a bad reception in a phone call. Webcam didn't work nor the screen sharing. The one who started their cam or sharing the screen, saw everything on their part, but not the viewers. They only saw black screen or never-ending loading screen. Later the same evening, with another friend, I tried Fluxer on their own server (web.fluxer.app). The quality of the audio was better than on my own server, but not as good as on for an example Mumble. Screen sharing was meh. When it worked, it could stop working after a while. So we switched over to Sharkord. Holy moly what a clear difference!! 😮 Much better audio and both webcam and screen sharing worked perfectly (except for the low fps issue, of course). But the difference was HUGE in comparison! Too bad Sharkord's activity is very low these days, but oh my what a service! Long live Sharkord! ❤️ But you (@diogomartino) must keep the updates going with bug fixes and sometimes new features (for an example drag-n-drop users). You will lose users otherwise. Or add trusted users to the team so the update flow will be more active. The fun thing is that Sharkord's first release was back in January this year and are this good! Fluxer's first release was back in 2023... I think. Their release page on GitHub dates back 3 weeks ago which is clearly wrong. The creator (a Swede) created his first account on web.fluxer.app back in summer of 2023. And they never ever say what a release contains for fixes or anything. So annoying! No, I stick to Sharkord for as long as I can. |

I felt the same way and I asked the same question... but he has a full time job like many of us do, and Work life has taken over. I agree that updates have been slacking the last couple of weeks/months which causes chaos but I believe it will pick back up shortly (Hopefully) |

Lately I haven't had the time to work on Sharkord, a lot is going on in my life. But that doesn't mean Sharkord is abandoned. I'll be back to actively maintaining it, I just can't promise when that's gonna be. Probably in 1-2 months. Maybe sooner, I can't really tell. |
Uh oh!

Hello. Just making sure that this wonderful project will not be abandoned. There is another "get away from Discord" project that are fully open sourced and are very active in development. But I don't want to install it on my server since I love Sharkord, but if Sharkord will be abondoned... well...
