I tried basic troubleshooting first

• [ ✓] Updated both SignTools and the builder (SignTools-CI or SignTools-Builder) to the latest version
• [ ✓] Read through the FAQ page

Describe the bug

When I run "SignTools -cloudflared-host localhost:51881" I get this error "connect to cloudflared: reach server timed out: http://localhost:51881/metrics"

To reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Run "SignTools -cloudflared-host localhost:51881"
2. The error shows up

Expected behavior

For the application to run smoothly.

did some more investigating, turns out it's prob not signtool's issue and it's some weird network restriction thing I have

a simple fix would just to replace localhost:51881 with your local ip address (for example, 192.168.x.x:51881

It sounds like your machine is missing localhost to 127.0.0.1 mapping in /etc/hosts. But yes, unrelated to SignTools.
