Ability to generate static site using GitHub Actions?

Is this compatible with GitHub Actions / GitHub Pages? It would be great to be able to just manually add photos and metadata to a repo and then have GH Actions automatically generate an updated static site.

This is a great idea @evnb! I haven't used SPG like this so far, but I can see how it makes sense for some use-cases, thanks for bringing this up.

In general, there should be no problem running SPG in a GitHub Action (in fact we already do that to run automated tests). We need to add just a bit of logic to handle galleries where photos were added and create a nice template for GitHub Pages deployment.

I think I can add this ability beginning of the coming week.
