A tool designed to search and replace the names of objects in a scene in Maya. The tool can replace the front(prefix) or end(suffix) of the selected objects. Selecting the desired objects and ticking the necessary boxes(can be all if needed) which unlocks the grayed out area, where you type what you want, then press apply the changes.
How to use
- Download
- Place in a folder(doesn't matter)
- Open Maya
- Press the console button
- File->Open Script->open the folder where you placed the script
- When open press the play button
