Windows onboarding hotfix
- Fixes the first-use Windows Terminal command line:
MetaPi Setupis now quoted as one title argument, so onboarding launchesmetapi-onboarding.cmdinstead of trying to executeSetup. - Uses the official
pi.dev/favicon.svgappearance for the installer, installed-app entry, and desktop shortcut: black rounded tile, white Pi mark, transparent outer corners. - Keeps the existing installer
AppId, install directory, current-user PATH behavior, and user-data retention contract.
Upgrade from preview.6
Users with v0.1.0-preview.6 can download and run either matching v0.1.0-preview.7 installer directly. It performs an in-place upgrade and preserves ~/.metapi, Profiles, credentials, models, Sessions, and WorkSpaces.
MetaPi-Setup.exe: bundled Node.js runtime.MetaPi-Setup-NodeJS.exe: uses an existing system Node.js installation.
Both installers target Windows x64, Windows 10 build 19041+ / Windows 11. They are not code signed and may show an Unknown publisher or SmartScreen warning. SHA-256 checksums are included in SHA256SUMS.txt.
Validation boundary
The focused Windows installer script tests pass 8/8, both installer builds completed, ProductVersion is 0.1.0-preview.7, and both artifacts remain unsigned as documented. Full GUI install/uninstall, real first-use onboarding, Linux, and anonymous-download acceptance were not rerun.
