KobraCache v0.5.0

Highlights

  • Adds Check for Updates in the app header.
  • Checks the latest public GitHub release from SlimQuiggle/KobraCache.
  • Downloads the Windows x64 release zip and verifies GitHub's SHA256 digest when available.
  • Stages the update locally, closes KobraCache, replaces app files, and relaunches.
  • Keeps the existing printer/file management behavior from v0.4.1.

Download

Use KobraCache-v0.5.0-win-x64.zip, extract it, and run KobraCache.Desktop.exe.

Validation

  • dotnet test KobraCache.sln: passed, 13 tests.
  • dotnet build KobraCache.sln -c Release: passed.
  • Published EXE reports version 0.5.0.
